L’Institut Stanier se consacre au développement des sciences en Santé publique. L’Institut est un organisme sans but lucratif et est reconnu légalement comme une organisation canadienne d’éducation et de recherche. Son dessein est d’établir le lien entre l’hygiène et la santé par la formation et la recherche. Roger Stanier en était le dévoué serviteur grâce à sa vision éclairée des sciences biologiques. La pertinence de ses études influença ses collègues chercheurs et ses idées échafaudèrent la biologie moderne. Sa capacité de raisonnement était impressionnante et son travail nous a légué durablement une importante empreintee.
